YEREVAN. – Under the current martial law in the country, the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia has taken measures to ensure the safety of the country's airspace for civilian and humanitarian flights.

The Committee informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that it has issued three respective notices to airmen (NOTAM) addressed to all airlines.

The EUROCONTROL European aviation safety agency and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have expressed their confidence in the steps taken by the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia to fulfill its obligations and ensure flight safety.

"Taking into account the hostilities in the region, the Civil Aviation Committee took all measures to ensure the safety of Armenia's airspace," said Tatevik Revazian, Chair of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.
