The technologies that superpowers use are currently being used in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). This is what representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said during a live broadcast on Armenian Public Television, adding that there are many forces and resources in this war.
“The most advanced technologies of Turkey and Israel are being used, including the latest UAVs, the latest high-precision missiles and the latest missile systems. In other words, we are witnessing a war of the fifth generation,” he said.
Hovhannisyan said all international experts admit that the adversary failed to make a classic breakthrough. “There were powerful offensive fists composed of over 10,000 military groups, and every offensive fist contained over 100 tanks and armored vehicles. However, they failed to cross the defense line. They tried to break through for 5-7 days, and when they say that it wasn’t working out, they collected the forces from 3-4 sectors and took them to one sector (to the south). Can you imagine their technological and quantitative advantages? They had up to 12 times more advantage at the bases for breakthrough, but they only advanced a maximum of 1-2 kilometers a day on average. This is a disgrace from the perspective of military science,” he said.
Hovhannisyan emphasized that this is a heavy war and that the last time he remembers such a war was the seizure of Iraq in 2003.
