We find that all those who have the potential to offer something or provide a certain service, according to our information, have made those offers since the first day of the war. Edmon Marukyan, chairman of the opposition Bright Armenia Party (BAP) and head of its parliamentary faction, said this in a talk with journalists Wednesday, touching upon the statement of 16 political parties in which they have demanded that the authorities set up a military-political operative headquarters that will include ex-presidents, foreign ministers and defense ministers.
“Consequently, there is no need for political parties to declare that such a headquarters need to be set up. There is one government, and it is doing this. At the same time, our political party hasn’t been against the statement. If we welcomed the statement, we would have signed under the statement,” Marukyan said, adding that the person making the decisions are people who are leading a war on a daily basis.
Marukyan also declared that he has heard that all ex-presidents have met with the Prime Minister, but corrected himself later by saying that perhaps one of them hadn’t come to the meeting.
