Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Turkey Jeyhun Bayramov and Mevlut Cavusoglu on Wednesday discussed the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone over the phone, TASS reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The press service reported that the ministers exchanged views on the current situation in the region.

Based on the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the foreign ministers emphasized that “in order to ensure sustainable peace in the region, it is necessary to put an end to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.”
