The battles have continued in all directions since early morning. This is what representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said during today’s briefing.
According to him, unlike the past few days, today the battles continued in the central direction as well.
The adversary made a few attempts to attack in the north, but all attacks were repressed, and the enemy was thwarted, suffering great casualties. The adversary used tactical aircraft in this direction, but failed.
The adversary applied sabotage in the central direction. The enemy’s saboteurs tried to infiltrate into the Armenian positions. After the Armenian artillerymen’s response operations, the saboteurs escaped.
The battles continued in the south. The hostilities moved further south, approaching the riverbed of Araks River. However, the enemy failed and suffered great casualties. In this direction, the enemy is using a large number of infantries and saboteurs. Hovhannisyan recalled that this morning, Armenia’s air defense units struck an Azerbaijani plane, and this was reported.
According to the representative of the Ministry of Defense, the battles are fierce, but there is less magnitude than the fiercer battles that went on over the past few days.
