By a decree of President Armen Sarkissian, Colonel Garegin Poghosyan, the commander of a military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, has received the title of National Hero and been awarded the Order of the Homeland.
Poghosyan has been deserving of these honors in recognition of his exceptional services rendered in the defense and security of the Homeland, and his devotion and courage shown during the current hostilities.
