In an age of information warfare, the clients of which carefully seek to predispose entire countries against each other, it is important to maintain the sobriety of mind and not give in to provocations. This was stated in an interview with AnalitikaUA.net by Daria Volodina, a member of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine from the ruling Servant of the People party, who is also the deputy head of the parliamentary friendship group with Armenia.

"The Ukrainian-Turkish military agreement was being prepared long before the recent war that broke out in Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)], and as far as I know, it has nothing to do with this conflict. The theories of some politicians on Ukraine's military assistance to Azerbaijan have been refuted at the highest level; so I consider any speculation on this issue to be absolutely used up," she said.

The MP wished quick peace to the Armenian people. "I am confident that the truth will surely prevail, and I sincerely hope that the children of Nagorno-Karabakh will soon be able to sleep to the tune of their mothers' crib songs, rather than to a deafening bombing," Volodina said.

Daria Volodina heads the largest inter-factional union in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The lawmaker has tabled about 30 bills, including the one on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
