The Azerbaijani armed forces have been committing war crimes against the civilian population for days, also violating the bilateral humanitarian ceasefire agreements. The Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise of Armenia has noted this in a statement on Facebook.

"The peaceful settlements of Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Sotk in the Vardenis region, and of Artsvani, Davit Bek of Syunik [Province] of Armenia were damaged by the strikes of the enemy drones.

The house of Gevorg Vardanyan, born in 1957, a civilian in the village of Mets Masrik, was reduced to rubble by an enemy attack UAV shelling, and he died on the spot.

There is a lot of destruction here done by the Azerbaijani armed forces; the adjacent houses and trafficable sections were damaged.

Another resident of Mets Masrik, Suren Dashyan, sustained a shrapnel wound and is currently recovering. And Robert Yeghiazaryan died at the hospital—without regaining consciousness.

The windows of the school in Sotk village were also broken by the waves of enemy shelling. The condition of 14-year-old Narek from the same village, who was severely wounded, is already stable," the Center added in particular.
