The Investigative Committee of Armenia is considering the issue of applying to the International Criminal Court. This is what Head of the Department of Criminalistics of the Investigative Committee Rafael Vardanyan said during a press conference devoted to the legal procedures linked to the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression today.

Vardanyan stated that criminal cases have been instituted in relation to facts of aggression against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and Armenia and that all the facts are regularly transmitted to the European Court of Human Rights, including the records on on-site inspections and the photos taken at the scenes of the incidents.

“The Investigative Committee is considering the issue of applying to the International Criminal Court. I am speaking only on behalf of the Investigative Committee. A decision will be made after a discussion with colleagues,” Vardanyan informed, adding that Armenia is not a member of the International Criminal Court.
