Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Turkey Sergey Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu today held phone talks during which they discussed the current situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and declared the need to ensure a speedy ceasefire between the parties to the conflict, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

“The situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed, the need to ensure a speedy and sustainable ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan was highlighted,” the Russian MFA stated.
