The US should suspend Azerbaijan’s access to SWIFT for violating the October 25, 2020 cease-fire negotiated in Washington, DC, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) reported.

"In response to Baku’s violation of the October 25, 2020 cease-fire negotiated in Washington, DC by the State Department, the US should suspend Azerbaijan’s access to SWIFT – a global network enabling major financial institutions to securely transmit high-value cross-border payment information

This suspension should target the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and other banking institutions involved in directly or indirectly financing Azerbaijani war crimes against civilian targets in Artsakh and Armenia," the ANCA said in a statement on its Facebook page.
