The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] remains extremely worrying, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a conversation with journalists on Friday.

The Prime Minister of Canada added that they take this very seriously, and a few weeks ago he spoke with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as with Turkish President Erdogan, insisting that it is necessary to move forward peacefully and respect the de-escalation and ceasefire agreements.

Trudeau reminded that Canada has stopped selling to Turkey the spare parts that are use in Turkish-manufactured drones, and said they need to make sure the rules and agreements set out in the agreement are being followed, they have heard concerns, and are really continuing to see examples and evidence that they are probably not being followed.

According to the Prime Minister of Canada, his country continues to work with its allies to find a diplomatic solution to the issue, and they will continue to seriously address this matter with all the means at their disposal.
