Parliamentary elections are being held in Georgia Saturday.
Eligible voters will elect MPs of the legislature of the 10th convocation, News Georgia reported.
A total of 150 lawmakers will be elected; 120 of them by proportional representation, whereas 30—by majoritarian representation.
A total of 48 political parties and two blocs are running in the elections.
As the election takes place against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, additional safety measures have been taken.
