The death toll from last week’s earthquake in western Turkey has risen to 76, reported the country's disaster and emergency authority (Afad).
Earlier, 73 dead and 961 injured were reported, according to RIA Novosti.
And the number of injured has risen to 962.
The quake was also felt in the nearby Greek islands.
At least 20 buildings were reported to have collapsed in Izmir.
The earthquake caused a tsunami, too.
Devastation was also reported on the Greek island of Samos, where two people were killed and 20 others—injured.
