The Armenian government will support businesses to solve the problems caused by the pandemic and the war. This is what Minister of Economy of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan said during a discussion on the draft of the 2021 State Budget held by the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly today.

According to Khachatryan, the government will lead an addressable policy. He also mentioned the two key factors that impacted this year’s economic situation and will continue to have an impact in 2021.

“Firstly, the pandemic compelled the government to make certain corrections for economic support for exportation and small and medium-sized businesses. Secondly, martial law led to the emergence of new problems that the private sector is currently facing.
