President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots,

Today I visited Shushi, met with the defenders of the city and discussed the strategy of our battle against the large number of the enemy’s forces.

The defense structures created through the combined efforts of professional soldiers and volunteers and the determination of the boys and men instill hope that all possible efforts are being made to keep the fortress city impregnable.

Shushi is one of the greatest inheritances with its spiritual and cultural values and traditions that we have received from our ancestors and must transmit to our generations with the same spirit.
