Greek police have arrested one of the leaders of Daesh terrorist organization, Vima newspaper reported, according to RIA Novosti.
“Greek police arrested one of the leaders of Daesh terrorist organization in Tripoli a few hours ago. The leader is a 27-year-old resident of Tajikistan who had received asylum in Greece a few years ago,” the press release reads.
According to the ‘red orders’ for search, in 2016, the arrestee traveled through Turkey and arrived in Syria where he joined, underwent training and participated in the military clashes in Syria and Iraq on behalf of ISIS.
