Artsakh president Arayik Haroutyunyan said he discussed with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan actions aimed at ending hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“I held talks with the parliament in advance and received the consent of the overwhelming majority of the deputies. Taking into account the current terrible situation, to avoid further heavy losses and the complete loss of Karabakh, I agreed to end the war as soon as possible. I will elaborate on the signed tripartite statement later. I express my condolences to the relatives and friends of our martyrs and to all the people. We will still have time for dialogue with the relatives of the fallen heroes and our military. I pay tribute to all people who have made at least a small contribution to the difficult struggle to defend the Motherland."
