The reports on the recent attacks on civilians in Mozambique highlight the risk that Islamic terrorism poses to the international community. This is what President of France Emmanuel Macron tweeted.

Local presses report that nearly 50 people were killed as a result of attacks committed by militants linked to ISIS.

“More than 50 people were beheaded, women were kidnapped, villages were robbed and then set on fire in Mozambique. The barbarians are using the religion of peace to inseminate terrorism; Islamic terrorism poses an international threat that requires an international response,” Macron wrote.
