Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denied rumors about plans to include Turkey among the OSCE MG co-chairs.

Russia and Turkey have earlier signed a memorandum on the creation of a Russian-Turkish joint ceasefire control in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The memorandum lays down the objectives and principles of the joint monitoring center that will collect and verify information about the maintenance of the ceasefire regime and other actions for violation of agreements.

Russian FM Sergey Lavrov, in turn, earlier said there would be no Turkish peacekeepers in Artsakh amid the rumors following the Russian-Turkish memorandum.

According to him, the boundaries of the mobility of the Turkish observers will be limited to the geographical coordinates that will be specified for the setting up of the Russian-Turkish monitoring center to be established in Azerbaijan.
