A short while ago, legendary Armenian army commander Ashot Minasyan was released from the National Security Service of Armenia.

“God is watching, everything was decided. I’m going where my people are,” Minasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Minasyan was released since the 72 hours of his detention had expired.

Minasyan was charged with usurpation of power, preparation of assassination to stop the activities of a state, political or public figure and possession of illegal weapons and ammunition.
