A short while ago, Lieutenant General, ex-chief of the Military Oversight Service at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, ex-chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Movses Hakobyan exited the building of the Special Investigation Service.

Hakobyan, who stayed at the Special Investigation Service for 40 minutes, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he had been summoned in order to give an explanation about the statements that he made during his press conference today.

According to him, he has no attorney.

Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan has sent the video recording of Hakobyan’s press conference to the Special Investigation Service to prepare a report in the prescribed manner under articles of the Criminal Procedure Code, verify the circumstances presented by Hakobyan through a criminal procedure and give a legal evaluation.

The Special Investigation Service told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Prosecutor General’s Office had sent the video recording of Hakobyan’s press conference.
