Russia and Turkey are close to reaching an agreement on the place of deployment of the joint center for monitoring of ceasefire control in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is what Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoygu said during a consultation devoted to the Russian peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh and held by President Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti reported.

“Within the scope of implementation of the memorandum on the creation of a Russian-Turkish center for ceasefire control in the territory of Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey are close to reaching an agreement on deployment of the center and the tasks to be implemented,” Shoygu added.
