The Il-76 military transport aircrafts of the Russian Space Forces will transport military engineers and machinery and equipment to the zone for implementation of peacekeeping operations in Nagorno-Karabakh, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“The Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Space Forces flew from the airport of Chkalovsky (near Moscow) to transport groups of engineers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as engineering machinery and equipment for the peacekeeping mission to clean the roads for general use and the facilities of social infrastructures,” the ministry’s press release reads.

The ministry also notes that the plane has transported military engineers, a bulldozer and a large truck to Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, adding that the truck can pass roads in order to transport equipment for the observation posts in the zone for peacekeeping operations.
