In an interview with ABC News, Ron Klain, the Chief of Staff of US President-Elect Joe Biden, said the latter will announce on Tuesday the names of those who will hold key positions in his staff.

"You're going to see the first of the president-elect's cabinet appointments on Tuesday of this week," Klein said, adding that Biden will announce the names himself.

He also called US President Donald Trump's refusal to recognize Biden's victory as "corrosive” and harmful," but adding that this will not change the outcome of what happens.

"He [Trump] has been (…) launching baseless claims of voter fraud, baseless litigation. He's been rejected by 34 courts, and now these efforts to try to get election officials to overturn the will of the voters. It's corrosive. It's harmful. But, as Mitt Romney said, it's not going to change the outcome of what happens here. At 12:00 noon on January 20, Joe Biden will become the next president of the United States," Ron Klain said.
