This past weekend, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian had a meeting with representatives of the public, including political scientists, analysts, journalists and public and cultural figures.

During the more than two-hour meeting, President Sarkissian and the participants of the meeting exchanged views on the situation created in the country, the several hardships and the opportunities to overcome the current crisis.

They underscored the importance of maintenance of stability and the need for systemic development of state institutions and touched upon the intolerance on social networks and the dangerous abundance of fake news and fake users.

The participants of the meeting asked the President several questions and shared their views on the situation and the ways to get out of it.
