The program of humanitarian aid to the families of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) rescue workers continues in Armenia.

Accordingly, these families, who have been given temporary shelter in the capital Yerevan and various other settlements of Armenia, receive one-time assistance in the form of food and basic necessities.

"Some of the families are still in Armenia, and the rescue workers are carrying out their humanitarian mission in Artsakh during these hard and difficult days. We are obliged to assist these families," said Karen Sargsyan, Director of the Artsakh State Service for Emergency Situations.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities—which Azerbaijan had launched on September 27—in and around Artsakh.
