The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, hopes for the speedy restoration of the full capacity of the OSCE Minsk Group to continue the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) issue. Pashinyan stated in an interview with TASS that he is in close contact with the co-chairs.

"I am in constant contact with the Russian president," Pashinyan said. “I recently had a telephone conversation with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. You know that there is an [presidential] election process in the United States. I hope that the full functioning of the OSCE Minsk Group will be restored very soon."

"The negotiation process must be fully restored," the Armenian Prime Minister stressed.

At the same time, according to him, at the moment there are more urgent issues that need to be resolved. "I mean the complete exchange of prisoners and detainees. There is the issue of the missing, there is the issue of exchanging the bodies of the dead. I think at this moment we should focus on these issues," Pashinyan said.
