STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mayilian on Tuesday received a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), led by Pascal Hundt, a high-level representative of the ICRC mission.
The meeting focused on the task of retrieval of the bodies of Armenian servicemen fallen, the determining of the fate of the missing, as well as the release of POWs and hostages as a result of the recent Azerbaijani-Turkish military aggression against Artsakh, the latter’s MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In this context, Mayilian underscored the need for the implementation of the respective work as soon as possible.
At the end of the meeting, Hundt informed about the ICRC Artsakh office’s humanitarian assistance provided—in cooperation with the state organizations of Artsakh—to the latter’s civilian population, in order to meet their urgent needs.
