Mane Gevorgyan, the spokesperson of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a short while ago approached Gegham Manukyan, a member of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, who has been on a hunger strike in front of the main government building for the past two days, and with the demand of Pashinyan’s resignation.

"I have come to see how they [those who are on a hunger strike] are doing. Yesterday I talked to the Prime Minister about this, too, and he was asking how they are doing," Gevorgyan told reporters.

To the question why PM Pashinyan himself does not come to see them, his spokesperson said, "The prime minister is at work now."

In turn, Gegham Manukyan stated that he has no expectation that the PM himself will come and talk with them. "Because I believe nothing will change from our conversation," he added.
