Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov says it’s important that from now on the US administration avoids ‘adventures’ in the Middle East posing a threat to the whole region, RIA Novosti reported.

“The intervention of the United States and its allies in Iraq, Syria and Libya hasn’t improved life in any of those countries. This has only created problems that the citizens of those countries, relevant politicians and governments are now compelled to overcome,” he said during a press conference devoted to the results of his negotiations with Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein.
