Foreign Ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan Mohammad Javad Zarif and Jeyhun Bayramov discussed border security and bilateral relations, Mehr reported.

The parties underscored the development of bilateral relations in several sectors and joint economic and railway projects and stated that the borders of Iran and Azerbaijan “embody peace and friendship”.

The Iranian foreign minister invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to Tehran.
