An Armenian father and daughter died from the coronavirus in the Tskhaltbila village of Akhaltskha region. The family members told reporters that the old man had gone to a clinic, but the latter refused to receive him.

“Our doctor told us to call an ambulance. The paramedics said the father and daughter had to go to a hospital. The daughter was at home and was almost dying, the father and the other daughter went to the hospital where he was told that it was Giorgoba, there were no doctors, and he returned in a taxi, crying. The daughter died yesterday, and the father died yesterday morning,” the deceased family members’ relative Lida Poghosyan told Rustavi-2 TV.

According to local doctor Vahan Vahanyan, he had personally examined the father and daughter infected with COVID-19, after which he had called an ambulance to hospitalize them at a clinic in Akhaltskha.
