Massive events are prohibited in Armenia during martial law. We know that there are domestic political processes during which assemblies are being held by not only people who are discontent with the capitulation agreement signed by the authorities, but also Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan’s supporters. This is what deputy of the Bright Armenia opposition faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Ani Samsonyan told deputy of the ruling My Step bloc Aren Mkrtchyan during today’s discussion on the bill on lifting martial law held as part of the special parliamentary session.

According to Samsonyan, the authorities hold protesters liable for violating martial law and launch criminal cases against them, but the Prime Minister welcomed the actions of his supporters who also violated martial law and didn’t hold them liable. Samsonyan called on the authorities to not apply double standards and hold the guilty liable.
