Facebook user Vahram Mirakyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Yesterday Azerbaijani troops entered the unprotected territory of Armenia and seized the mine, the 3,500 employees of which pay nearly $40,000,000 in taxes on an annual basis.

1. Armenian troops had 15 days to dig a trench and position themselves. Why didn’t they do this?

2. If the objective is to ‘sacredly protect’ the borders of Soviet Armenia, why is Artsvashen in the territory of Azerbaijan? Let’s restore that as well.

3. Azerbaijan has taken territories from the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic in the whole Soviet era. As a result, during the 70 years of Soviet rule, Azerbaijan improved its positions quite a lot, while Armenia believed in the myths about the fraternal nations, just like the incumbent Armenian authorities believe in the agreement on peace.

4. Now Azerbaijan’s key objective is to size as many peaks and territories as possible so that it unleashes a war from overriding positions during the next war. What is the key objective of the Armenian army? Is it to cede all the overriding positions to the Azerbaijanis?

Armenia will be facing several similar problems on the new and nearly 500 km border with Azerbaijan. What is particularly dangerous is Syunik Province since the Azerbaijanis augmented their territory until the Goris-Kapan road in the Soviet era.”
