Artsakh has lost 70% of arable land and 70% of gardens as a result of war, the Artsakh ministry of agriculture reported.

Losses are also significant in the field of gardening: about 2 thousand hectares of orchards remain out of 7 thousand hectares of perennial plantations (30% of the previous volume - ed.).

The shortage of agricultural crops is mainly associated with vegetables and fruits (pomegranate, dates, grapes, etc.), which were mainly grown in the lost territories. To fill the gap, it is planned to implement programs, including in the development of intensive gardens and greenhouses.
