The Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, has stated the need for more active work within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) to gradually resume communication between the EEU member countries. The Belarusian PM noted about this at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, TASS reports.

"Unfortunately, in order to slow down the process of the spread of the coronavirus, we had to take strict measures to restrict the movement of passengers between our countries. [But] given the experience gained in containing the infection, I hope for a more active dialogue between our ministries of health and transport, aimed at the gradual restoration of communication to facilitate business ties and labor migration," said the Belarusian premier.

To note, Armenia is also a member in the Eurasian Economic Union.
