The police officers have apprehended the young man, who brought an object that looked like a pill to the government building for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The head of the youth organization of the Republican Party of Armenia Hayk Mamidzhanyan, who was also detained, wrote on his Facebook that they had brought the medicine to the government building.
"They apparently do not want us to give the person his medicine," he added.
