The mayor of Goris, Armenia, Arushan Arushanyan has been detained; deputy mayor Menua Hovsepyan stated this in a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He added, however, that their protest will continue.

To note, several hours ago, the mayor of this city in Syunik Province made an appeal urging the people of Goris to join the car rally of protest which aimed to prevent the visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Syunik Province.
