YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with outgoing U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Marie L. Yovanovitch today.

Marie Yovanovitch thanked Serzh Sargsyan for close cooperation in her capacity as an Ambassador, the presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. She stressed that significant progress has been registered in U.S.-Armenia relations within the recent 3 years and stressed that the U.S. attaches significance to further cooperation with Armenia.

Serzh Sargsyan made a high appraisal of Mrs. Yovanovitch’s personal contribution to development of bilateral interstate relations and wished her success in her further activities.
