Mongolia has reported the first death from the coronavirus, Xinhua reported, citing the country’s Ministry of Health.

The deceased is a 76-year-old woman who underwent treatment at a hospital in Ulan Bator. She mainly suffered from chest muscle pain, serious respiratory failure and heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes and chronic Hepatitis C.

Overall, 1,195 Mongolians have gotten infected with the coronavirus, of which 824 patients have recovered and discharged after treatment.
