Police officers in Washington D.C. have arrested a Virginia man who tried to pass through a Capitol police checkpoint with false inaugural credentials, a pistol, and more than 500 bullets, writes The Guardian.

The man, Wesley Allen Biller, had arrived at the checkpoint in a pickup truck, ahead of US President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20.

Biller submitted an unlicensed document at the Capitol police checkpoint Friday night, court documents said.
