The citizen of Armenia suspected of being involved in the death of an employee of the administration of former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has been sentenced to eight years in prison, with confiscation of property, Fakti reported.

According to the municipal prosecutor’s office of Kyiv, the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv declared the citizen guilty under the elements of bandit attack, and the citizen partially accepted the guilt.

The prosecutor’s office reminded that the bloody body of a man was found in front of the gates to a church at Bagovutovsky Street in Kyiv in March 2019 (the deceased man was Chief Advisor of the Department of Information Policy of the Audit Chamber of Ukraine Aleksandr Bukhtati).

“The accused met the accomplice on the street and organized a bandit attack by hitting the man in the head area four times. The next day, the residents found the man’s body,” the prosecutors reported, adding that one of the persons who made the attack has already been arrested.
