YEREVAN. – No necessary work has been done in Armenia in the context of judicial reform. Former military prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan, a candidate for a member of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), said this Friday during the debates on the issue of electing new members of the SJC, at the special sitting of the National Assembly, and answering independent MP Gor Gevorgyan who inquired whether his views as well as ideas on judicial reforms correspond to the current parliamentary system in the country.

According to Jhangiryan, in the current situation, the parliamentary system of government is problematic for Armenia.
