YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: In recent weeks, the ruling team has been busy with the process of preparing for snap [parliamentary] elections.

They have started visiting the provincial organizations of the [ruling] party, they pledge to employ people, employ some, strengthen the party organizations. It is said that [PM Nikol] Pashinyan plans to hold a snap [parliamentary election] in May.

However, it is not ruled out that they will give up that idea at all, if they do not find common ground with the NA [National Assembly] opposition, and the risk of nominating a new candidate for the post of Prime Minister is maintained in the NA, as well as people do not take to the streets, reconciling with their existence; in that case, they will go for a regular [parliamentary] election.
