Russia’s OMON (Special Purpose Mobile Unit) has dispersed protesters in Vladivostok in support of the release of Alexei Navalny, Meduza reported.

And according to Kommersant, Sergey Bespalov, the head of the opposition figure’s Irkutsk regional headquarters, has been detained. Bespalov announced this on Facebook. His deputy, Zakhar Sarapulov, was also detained on charges of violating the rules of organizing demonstrations.

A march in support of Navalny will get underway in Irkutsk city at 2pm local time. The protesters will gather in front of the government building in the Irkutsk region. The demonstration, however, does not have the consent of local authorities.
