Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, was detained during Saturday’s protest rally in Moscow in support of her husband; she informed about this on Instagram.

It happened at least half an hour after Navalnaya wrote that she had come to take part in the rally, Kommersant reported.

Unsanctioned rallies in support of Alexei Navalny are taking place throughout Russia today. According to OVD-Info, about 400 people have been detained so far.

Also, clashes broke out between police and protesters in Moscow.
