Prime Minister of France Jean Castex on Saturday declared that 1,000,000 French citizens have already gotten vaccinated against the coronavirus, TASS reported.
On December 27, France launched a campaign to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to the population. The residents and doctors of nursing homes at high risk must be vaccinated first. To date, all residents over 75 and people with serious diseases are covered. Based on the government’s calculations, nearly 1,000,000 residents will be vaccinated in January, and a total of 2,500,000 will be vaccinated in late February.
