US President Joe Biden’s administration supports the removal of the bust of the late British Prime Minister Winston Churchill from the Oval Office and has provoked criticism, Fox News reported.

The US Embassy in London posted the following comment and attached a video about this:

“We’ve seen some discussion about the Churchill Bust, so we just wanted to remind everyone what the Special Relationship is truly about.”

President Biden’s immediate removal of the Churchill bust from the Oval Office is attracting growing attention across the Atlantic and has already been strongly attacked by some British politicians, including former Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage, who says this was a slap in the face for Great Britain on Day One of Biden’s presidency, and sends the wrong signal to America’s closest friend and ally.
