President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan today congratulated Colonel of the Defense Army of Artsakh, commander of the Yeghnikner military unit and Hero of Artsakh Karen Jalavyan on his 50th birthday and posted the following on his Facebook page:
“Dear commander,
I respect your unconditional dedication and self-dedicated service to the Homeland. I am certain that the generations of Armenians will learn lessons of dignity and courage from your type and example of an Armenian hero and will materialize the Armenians’ collective will and desire to shape victories again. Happy Birthday, Hero of Artsakh!”
Harutyunyan also posted a video showing how Jalavyan is granted the title of Hero of Artsakh.
